Staging Diva homework serves a real purpose

I take a different approach to assigning homework than most home staging training programs and there are several reasons for this.

If you’ve been researching companies offering home staging training, I'm guessing you’ve probably encountered those that require you to hand in assignments to be graded in order for you to graduate or “qualify” for “guaranteed jobs”.

Home stagers aren't responsible for a house selling

Many home stagers, both aspiring and established, share the same fear - that a home they've staged won't sell and they will be held liable somehow.

It's important to remember that it won't be you, the home stager, who the seller will be upset with when their home isn’t selling - it will be the real estate agent.

You’re decorating the house to sell, but as a stager there are many factors you're not in control of. The home stager packages a product for the real estate agent to sell, but after that, it’s up to them.

Read more about what happens if a home you've staged doesn't sell on the Home Staging Business Report.
