Don't be an invisible home stager

While I receive many success stories from Staging Diva Graduates, I also hear from home stagers who aren’t so enthusiastic. Some haven't even taken the plunge to start their business months after taking their training.

One Staging Diva Graduate got in touch with me after being in business for just four months. She was ready to quit and give up on her dream because there was no demand for staging in her city. But, she didn't have a website or any sort of Internet presence.

When I asked her if someone in her city wanted to hire a home stager, how could they find her, she admitted there wasn't any way for a home seller to know about her services.

Read the home staging advice I gave this Graduate on the Home Staging Business Report.

How healthy is your home staging website?

On the surface, your home staging website might look just great, but unfortunately, that doesn't really matter where it counts. Of course you need an attractive looking website, especially as a home stager, but is it doing what it needs to do so that potential clients can find you through the search engines?

I recently posted a little "health check" you can perform on your website to see how your it may be doing. You can find that post here on the Staging Diva Dispatch blog.
