Build relationships to attract clients
One of the most effective ways to attract clients to a small business, including a home staging business, is through relationship marketing.
Rather than throwing money at "one-off" advertising methods like flyers and newspaper ads, you're much better off to work on building relationships with your past, present and future clients.
The best way to do this is by developing an electronic newsletter or ezine and to start blogging. I've recently developed a new home staging resource called Staging Diva Chronicles. It's a collection of a dozen home staging articles you can use for your own learning, or to publish in your own blog or newsletter to promote the home staging industry and in turn, your own services.
